My titles plan

I have decided that the titles of my film will be very simplistic as I do not wish to draw attention away from the what is actually going on in the opening sequence. I have decided to look at my inspirations for ideas on what I should do for the titles of our Media coursework:
This is Pulp Fictions titles by Quentin Tarentino, I am quite impressed by the minimalistic nature of these titles as I feel it works quite well.

This is Reservoir dogs opening, it seems to be a theme of Quentin Tarentino to be quite simplistic with his title designs. I feel he has done this as he feels that you do not need a lot of distractions from the story. The music playing during these titles is not too overblown and is easy to digest, I feel as we are trying to make our film similar to a Quentin Tarentino film, we should follow in his ideas and make our titles quite simplistic with quite calm music playing in the background.

I have started designing my titles, here is a first draft. As of now I have not added music to the titles as we plan to have music playing throughout the opening sequence so it will not be appropriate to add to this draft. I used Final cut pro to produce these titles as I felt I did not need livetype to retrieve my desired effect, which was one similar to that of Tarentinos. As it is at the moment I have not decided whether I would make my titles appear on a black screen towards the end of the sequence alike Pulp Fiction, or whether I would do what reservoir dogs has done and make them appear over the film.
